Born in the early 1950s on the farmland where the present-day Port Harcourt Refining Company now stands, His Royal Highness hails from the distinguished royal family of His Royal Highness Jike Ochenya of Alesa, Nchia in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.

From an early age, he displayed humility, intelligence, and an innate sense of service: virtues that prepared him for the great responsibilities of leadership that destiny would later bestow upon him.

His Royal Highness began his academic journey at Holy Trinity Primary School, Alesa, before proceeding to Enitonia High School, Port Harcourt, for his secondary education. He later attended Regina Caeli Teachers’ Training College, Bori, where he trained and qualified as a professional teacher.

Driven by a passion for knowledge, he furthered his education at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University), Onne Campus, where he earned a degree in Agriculture. This blend of academic and moral discipline has remained the hallmark of his leadership, combining knowledge with empathy, and authority with service.
