Princess Pat Ajudua 


Princess Patience Adankele Ajudua, fondly known as Pat Ajudua, is a distinguished Nigerian lawyer, parliamentarian, and community leader. She has built an illustrious career spanning law, politics and philanthropy. Rising from her royal roots in Eleme to national recognition, she has become one of the most remarkable women of her generation, particularly for her contributions to politics in Delta State and her advocacy for women and social development.

Birth

Princess Patience Adankele Ajudua was born on 7 April 1962. Her birth into the Ngegwe royal family of Eleme marked the beginning of a journey that would see her uphold the values of leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.


Education

Her academic journey is a testament to her passion for knowledge and excellence. She began at the Federal Government Girls’ College, Abuloma, Port Harcourt (1974–1979) and proceeded to the School of Basic Studies in Port Harcourt (1979–1981). She later attended the University of Lagos (1981–1984) before furthering her studies at Rivers State University of Science and Technology (1989–1990) and Lagos State University (1990–1992), where she obtained a law degree.

She enriched her academic portfolio with postgraduate studies at the University of Lagos (1996–1997). She also earned membership in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIARB). Beyond law, she holds degrees in Philosophy, Law (to doctorate level), Theology, and Business Administration, among others. 

Her wide-ranging educational achievements reflect a woman of resilience and intellectual versatility.

Work and Political Life

Princess Pat Ajudua’s professional life combines law, public service, and politics. She is  recognized as a mediator, conciliator, and arbitrator.

Her political journey took off in 2007 when she was first elected into the Delta State House of Assembly to represent Oshimili North. Since then, she has served multiple terms, holding strategic positions such as Chief Whip of the House. She was instrumental in sponsoring key bills and chairing critical committees, including those on Special Bills, Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Judiciary.

Her influence extends to leadership roles in major political campaigns. She chaired the Oshimili North PDP Campaign Council for the 2023 elections and served on the Central Organizing Committee for Delta State’s 30th anniversary celebration. She was later appointed Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community, and Social Development in Delta State.

Throughout her political career, Princess Ajudua has been recognized as a voice of courage, advocacy, and service—particularly for women and marginalized groups.

Private Life

Beyond her public life, Princess Ajudua is a devoted family woman. She is married to Fred Ajudua, and their union is blessed with a son, Bobo Ajudua.

She balances her demanding career with her commitments as a mother, wife, evangelist, and philanthropist. Her work in empowering women, supporting education, and promoting community development reflects her deeply held belief in service to God and humanity.
