A man of deep conviction and spiritual authority, Archbishop Kattey’s life and ministry have left indelible marks not only in the Niger Delta but across the nation. His contributions to the growth of the Church and the cultural identity of Eleme over the past two and a half decades remain a source of inspiration and pride. BIRTH Born on August 23, 1948, in Alode, one of the ancient towns of Eleme, Rivers State, Archbishop Kattey was raised in a Christian household. His father, Chief Amos Kattey, was a respected figure in the Nchia district of Eleme.   Oji Ngofa Oji Ngofa was formerly the ambassador of Nigeria to the Netherlands. He was Eleme Local Government Area's executive chairman for two terms. BIRTH Oji Ngofa, Chief, Honourable, was born as Oji Nyimenuate Ngofa on 24 th 1968 August at Aleto Eleme, to Hon. Nwosu Alale Ngofa, a leading educationist in the area, ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Oji Ngofa earned his West Africa School Certificate (WASC) in 1985 after earning his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1979. He completed the National Youth Service (NYSC) in 1992 after earning a Bachelor of Art degree in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar in 1991. Ngofa graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a Post Graduate Diploma in International Affairs.   HRM Philip Osaro Obele Philip Osaro Obele is the Oneh Eh Eleme XI (King of Eleme of Eleme land) since 2019.   BIRTH Philip Osaro Obele JP, HRM, King, Emere, was born in 1958 in Aleto Clan of Eleme land, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.   EDUCATION Philip Osaro Obele graduated from Rivers State College of Education, which is now Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, with a National Certificate in Education, NCE, and a bachelor's degree in political science and education from Bayero University Kano.   PERSONAL LIFE Philip Osaro Obele was an administrator and teacher before assuming his current position of leadership. On the one hand, Eleme is a local government area; on the other, it is a native kingdom, which is a unique ethnic group with a distinctive language, traditional leadership, and other lifestyles that are specific to her people. Okirika, Oyigbo, Elelenwo, Ogu, and Ogoni all share borders with the land of Eleme.   Eleme Local Government Area One of the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Rivers State, Nigeria, Eleme LGA was created in 1996 from the former Tai-Eleme LGA. Its headquarters are located at Ogale. In 1992, the headquarters was renamed Ogale instead of Nchia. It is a part of the metropolitan area of Port Harcourt. With a population density of over 273,500, it occupies an area of 138 square kilometers (53 square miles).
